Five Years Strong: Delivering Smiles

One Package at a Time. Sometimes, Ten Package in a row. Other times over 500 packages in one loading dock.

On Sep 5th, 2025, it marks a truly special milestone for me: five incredible years of delivering Amazon Prime packages! It makes me flash back the feels on July 5th, 2020 when I was starting out, a little nervous but full of excitement. ( the time line is not really matched because I took the vacation)

Now, I look back with a heart overflowing with happiness and a deep sense of accomplishment. It’s been a journey, filled with countless miles, countless smiles, and a few unexpected detours, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Over these past five years, I’ve seen a lot of new faces come and go in this delivery world. It’s a demanding job, and not everyone finds their stride.

I remember one new hire who clocked in, lasted about three hours, and then decided it wasn’t for them. That day, I ended up taking over their route, and honestly, it’s a situation that’s played out about ten times over these five years. Each time, it’s exhausting!!! (because I need to finish my own routed delivery before taking over. If you wonder how I can finish a routed delivery within 3 hours? Take a look at my business route)

However, it’s also a chance to step up and make sure those packages get where they need to go. It makes me incredibly proud to know that I’ve been a consistent, reliable presence, no matter what.

There’s a unique satisfaction that comes with this job. Every package I deliver represents something to someone – a much-needed item, a surprise gift, or a little bit of everyday joy.

Knowing that I’m a part of that, bringing a little piece of happiness to people’s doorsteps, (and sometimes right in time 10 minutes before their children’s birthday) is truly inspiring. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.

Through it all, I’ve learned so much about resilience, adaptability, and the power of a positive attitude. This job has shown me that I’m stronger than I ever thought, capable of handling whatever comes my way. And as I reflect on these five years, one thought echoes in my mind, a testament to every single day out on the road:

No matter what condition of the weather, from sunshine day to the raining day to the winter storm day, I could do it, I can do it, I do it and

I did it.

Now, I move on and move up.
