The patient presents with a persistent, localized nostalgia.
Memories are observed as dense shadows on the diagnostic screen.
Amenia manifests as a total cessation of the expected vital flow.
Outside the ward, a bay horse stands in the freezing rain.
The animal’s anatomy is a study in tension and silent endurance.
Each hoof is planted firmly into the saturated earth of the yard.
No remedy is prescribed for a mind trapped in the previous decade.
The horse turns its head toward the sterile light of the office.
The final report documents a condition of beautiful, unmoving stasis.

You might don’t know. Amenia at NYS is one major hub for horse-country.

And this year is also a Horse Year. I am talking about Asian culture and the moon-based calendar. The Horse Year is from February 17th, 2026, until February 5th, 2027.

This is a perfect link! The most beautiful moment of a horse is when it runs freely. It is a pleasant sight. It feels like freedom.

My first stop at the “Scenic Overlook” in Amenia, NY.

The land is still white. Snow covers the ground. But the snow cannot cover the feeling of freedom. It is half past winter right now.

The horses and horse farms are waiting. They wait for the spring season to arrive. Spring will bring more freedom to run.

Next, I continue the ground trip. I drive toward the town center of Amenia, NY.

I see something new to me. Many things here are originally from the 1960s. This is an old feeling.

I decide to stop by a restaurant. It is from the Four Brothers Drive-in group business. This place has a history.

I don’t quite catch the atmosphere here. Things from the 1960s are way too far from my age. This is a new experience for a Millennial gen person.

At the restaurant, a staff member tells a few old stories. It seems like the locals have a lot of nostalgia. They miss the past.

The local staff had a suggestion for me. They said I must come back in the spring season. We can do:

• Visit the Scenic Overlook Stop by the “Scenic Overlook” to enjoy the views. ( I already did)
• Dine at a Historic Spot Experience the nostalgia at a restaurant with classic food and generic art from 1960s and previous, or the Four Brothers Drive-in Theatre.  
• Explore the Horse Country As a major horse-country hub, plan a spring visit to see the horse farms for the riding lesson associated with other organic vegetables. 

Amenia will make you feel nostalgic. Amenia’s Horses will be your time “machine” (running by our local grown farm) traveling to the 1960s.
